Tools for Recording Video for your Course

Here, we'll use "tool" to refer to any application, software, or hardware that can record a video.  The tool you choose will be based on the type of video you want to create.  For example, if you want to record a brief weekly introduction video, any video camera, cell phone camera, or webcam will do.  However, if you are recording a lecture in which you will share slides or other supplementary materials, a more specialized tool is needed.
