After recording your video and uploading it to Canvas Studio, the next step is linking it in your course. Canvas Option 1: Adding the Video through the Rich Content Editor (RCE) The RCE is a space in Canvas in which text and other media can be entered and edited. RCEs are available in many areas throughout Canvas, such as Pages, Discussions and Quiz questions. On the RCE, select the Apps button (looks like a plug). Then select Canvas Studio. See image above. If you do not see this option, select View All The videos in your Canvas Studio Library will appear. Select the video you'd like to use. In the Embed View options, select Learn View so that students can view rolling transcripts by default. If adding more than one video to the same page, separate them with several blank spaces or a horizontal line. Select Embed Media then Save (or Save and Publish) Canvas Option 2: Add the video into a module Select the + button on the module that you would like to add your video to In the Add drop-down menu, select External Tool Select Canvas Studio.
