How do I make a Discussion Forum gradable?

If you are creating a new forum, follow these steps to make your Forum gradable:

  1. Make sure the Edit Mode is set to On.
  1. From the Course Menu on the left, click Discussion Board.
  2. At the top left, click Create Forum.
  3. Enter the forum title into the Name.
  4. Enter questions or discussion activity instructions into the Description box.
  5. Under Forum Settings are the options for making a Forum gradable.
  6. Click Submit to save.

If you have already created a Discussion Forum, follow these steps to make a Forum gradable:

  1. Click on the Discussion Board on the Course Menu.
  2. Click on the gray arrow next to the Forum title and choose Edit.
  3. Under Forum Settings you’ll find the options for making the Forum gradable
  4. Click Submit to save.
