How do I grade an assignment in Canvas using SpeedGrader?

SpeedGrader is a tool in Canvas that allows you to quickly and efficiently grade all of your assignments.

1. 1. To grade an assignment, click Grades on the Course Navigation menu.
   2. Click the three dots to the right of the assignment column title and select SpeedGrader.
      
      

1. You will see the student submission with an option to enter a grade and comments on the right side of the screen.
2. If a student submitted a document, you can mark it up directly in SpeedGrader by using annotations.
3. Enter a grade in the Grade box and add feedback to student in the Assignment Comments box.
4. Click Submit when done. Canvas will automatically advance onto the next student's submission that needs grading.
