Adding Video Files to your Echo 360 Library

Your Echo 360 Library is your own cloud-based media storage that is used to store videos. The videos can be linked to Blackboard through your Echo 360 Library.

Some content, such as that created through Zoom and Universal Capture, is automatically added to your Echo 360 Library.  You can also add your own video files to your Echo 360 Library.  For example, if you prefer to create lecture videos via PowerPoint, you can upload the video file to your Echo 360 Library and share with your course.  Additionally, captions will be automatically generated for any video file.

To add your own videos to the Echo 360 Library, follow these steps:

  1. Go to echo360.org and log in with your UML credentials
  2. From the top menu, select “Create” and then “Upload Media”
  3. A pop-up window will allow you to add files from your computer or other online locations

To add a video from your Echo 360 Library to your Blackboard course, see this page.
